Building Information[]

A governor in your colony guarantees that all the daily administrative tasks are done properly and lowers the level of Corruption in your colony.

The Governor's Residence costs as much as the Palace and does not require Bureaucracy nor Governor - you can build it on a normal building ground (with a red flag on it) in your colonies - but it does require Expansion as it is needed to be built in your colonies in order to control Corruption.

  • The Governor's Residence can also be upgraded to a Palace if you ever want to move your capital. However, if you change your capital by converting a Governor's Residence to a Palace, the Palace in your original Capital will be completely destroyed!

Please note:
  • There are some researches which reduce the amount of resources required for the construction of buildings.
    • Pulley (Economy) reduces the required amount of resources by 2%.
    • Geometry (Economy) reduces the required amount of resources by 4% (6% total).
    • Spirit Level (Economy) reduces the required amount of resources by 8% (14% total).
An Architect's Office reduces  Marble requirements by 1% for every level built (up to 32%).
A Carpenter reduces  Wood requirements by 1% for every level built (up to 32%).
A Firework Test Area reduces  Sulphur/Sulfur requirements by 1% for every level built (up to 32%).
An Optician reduces  Crystal Glass requirements by 1% for every level built (up to 32%).
A Wine Press reduces  Wine requirements by 1% for every level built (up to 32%).

An Alchemist's Tower increases the production of  Sulphur/Sulfur by 2% for every level built (up to 64%).
A Forester's House increases the production of  Wood by 2% for every level built (up to 64%).
A Glassblower increases the production of  Crystal Glass by 2% for every level built (up to 64%).
A Stonemason increases the production of  Marble by 2% for every level built (up to 64%).
A Winegrower increases the production of  Wine by 2% for every level built (up to 64%).

Notes:

  1. 1,0 1,1 1,2 1,3 The total number of towns is determined by the Palace level +1
  2. 2,0 2,1 2,2 2,3 To keep corruption at 0, the Governor's Residence level in each colony should be equal to the number of colonies you have. Example: You have a Capital and 3 colonies, the Governor's Residence should be at level 3 to keep corruption at 0.
  3. A Soft cap is the maximum level that is shown in the in-game Help (Ikipedia) section of Gameforge's games. However, structures can be built to higher levels than what is shown until you reach the Hard cap.
  4. Only with Max Reduction is this level possible, as it would take 4 Level 40 Warehouses and a Level 40 Dump.
  5. A Hard cap is the highest level possible this building can be upgraded to. No further upgrades are possible because the upgrade button is missing.
